Eclipse Ranch

Dedicated To Raising & Training Quality Performance Horses

We will have 4 shared paddock spaces available August 1st! Our indoor arena is currently under construction and will be completed in July!

HORSE   BOARDING

WHAT TO BRING WITH YOU : We need proof of ownership, utd negative proof of coggins and vaccine records for 5-way, west-nile, strangles and rabies as well as a de-worming schedule to know that all horses are healthy. We recommend you have a blanket for the colder months and grain for hard keepers. We do not accept cribbers or kickers.

Higher maintenance breeds such as thoroughbreds and warmbloods or horses who arrive underweight will cost extra for the additional nutrition needs they have through the daily hay they eat if on free choice hay in a paddock.

We
charge board on the 1st of each month.

DISCOUNTS :

* Referral of a new client : $25 off one month's board bill

Our facility is located on the North West side of Fort Collins, on a quiet dirt road. We are nearly a straight shot to CSU, Wellington and Old Town in either direction, each are a 15-minute drive. Our facility includes a 140'x80' Indoor Arena, 100'x200' outdoor sand arena and (2) approximately 50' sand round pens, all equipped with lights. We have pasture turnouts, individual runs, tack lockers, a small obstacle course, outdoor cold water wash racks, a dog play yard, picnic area, restroom, and shared paddocks, all on 35 acres. Great views of the mountains. Douglas Reservoir is a 5 mile ride or drive straight East on all dirt roads. Low key, family run, relaxed environment and no drama. With everything we have to offer, you never feel crowded. Free trailer parking. We have cattle that we work two weekends a month that boarders are welcome to participate in as well.

Reining Trainer on site. References available upon request. Past Rodeo Queen, 4H member and current 4H leader.

Owner lives on site. Grass, alfalfa and mix hay available and can feed owner provided grain as needed to horses in individual pens at no extra charge. We have a combined experience of more than 60 years raising and training horses and we regularly consult with notable equine authorities such as CSU, The Colorado Horse Counsel, Local Veterinarians and The Colorado Extension Office. Foaling services also available.
