All Eclipse Ranch Horses are up to date on vaccinations, hoof care and deworming. Each horse goes home with a halter and lead rope, & any test results they have currently had done (7 panel/color/coggins), and all new owners receive a custom Eclipse Ranch baseball cap or beanie. Horses go home with their original registration papers and signed transfer as well as a Colorado brand inspection and any nomination forms they have.

By “Shiner On My Eye” (NRHA LTE: $216,500+) who is by Shiners Voodoo Dr and out of Flashy Lil Step (Wimpys Little Step). 7 PANEL NEGATIVE & Could be homozygous black. This colts pedigree is stacked with proven potential. He could go any direction in the performance world. He would make a great reining, ranch, or cowhorse prospect! Keep him a stud or geld him! Cheveyo is a phenomenal gelding and a great teacher for beginner and advanced riders alike. He has been hauled to shows since he was a weanling, shown in showmanship and halter as a colt and then shown by different intermediate to advanced riders starting when he was 3 years old, who placed well in every class they entered together in English, Western, Gymkhana and Working Cow Horse divisions. He was also used in 2015 as a Queen’s horse for the Little Britches Rodeo carrying flags and can be ridden bareback and bridle-less by an advanced rider. He currently excels in the ranch riding and reined cowhorse events. He does have a previous injury to his left hind leg and would do best with injections if in hard work.

Cheveyo was bred, raised and trained here at Eclipse Ranch Performance Horses and has a foundation in reining and ranch versatility but has shown in everything from english, to gymkhana as well as western all around and cows. He’s helped teach so many riders how to be great horsemen. He has competed in local 4H and saddle club shows as well as Youth level NRHA and APHA shows, including the APHA world show. He’s sweet-natured and kind, push button style and forgiving to new rider errors. We would like to find a youth rider to lease him who has an interest in showing either 4h or youth level breed show classes, or just a youth who wants to advance thier skills in riding.
This half lease includes:
• All general care, vet care & farrier care. 2 rides/week at a quiet, drama-free, family run barn in Fort Collins with use of all western tack and 1 lesson/week. Access to a large indoor and outdoor arena, round pen, and quiet dirt roads.

She was a 2 year old and I was 9 years old. She is now retired and living the spoiled life!
